About 2travel

A practical guide for alcohol-related decisions

2travel serves two people: someone worried about their own drinking, and someone worried about another person’s drinking. The job is to help each person choose a safe, concrete next action.

The editorial desk

2travel.org is independently published by Erik Aronesty. The 2travel editorial desk writes and reviews every guide, maintains the support directory, and answers corrections through the editorial inbox. We do not publish clinical credentials we do not hold or hide paid placement inside editorial recommendations.

What we publish

The core library covers recognizing concern about drinking, preparing an honest conversation, setting boundaries, comparing peer and professional support, and making a plan for the next 24 hours. Essays about grief, shame, and personal change remain in the reading room when they directly support those decisions.

Each directory entry identifies who runs the service, who it is for, how to access it, and what the reader should verify. Links are checked on a recurring schedule and corrections enter a tracked editorial queue.

Our point of view

Specific language makes hard decisions more usable. A person should leave a page knowing what to say, whom to contact, what to compare, or what to write down. Dignity matters because shame makes accurate decisions harder.

Where our guidance stops

2travel is not a treatment provider, crisis service, recovery fellowship, or substitute for individualized medical or mental-health care. We do not diagnose, prescribe treatment, or decide whether a particular program is right for a reader.

Independence

2travel does not accept payment for inclusion in the resource directory and does not use affiliate links in editorial recommendations. If that policy changes, the relationship will be disclosed where it matters.
