I recently traveled to Finland and had an amazing time. I got to see so many beautiful places, from the capital city of Helsinki, to Tampere’s old town, by the way, online tickets to Finland are easily available, for example, from Berlin to Helsinki. The people were very friendly, the food was delicious and the nature was just gorgeous!
Levi

Tampere
Tampere is one of Finland’s most important cities. It’s home to the University of Tampere and has a large industrial park, which includes Nokia. Tampere also has an annual rock festival called Ruisrock that attracts more than 70,000 people every year!

The city is also known for its Lake Pyhäjärvi, which is a popular destination for swimming in the summer. The lake has an island called Näsijärvi, which means “Needle Lake” in Finnish.
Helsinki
Helsinki is the capital and largest city of Finland. It’s also a popular destination for tourists from all over the world, who come to see its beautiful architecture and museums by themselves or with the help of local guides Helsinki.
The city has been called “the Venice of the North,” but it has a unique character all its own. You’ll find canals throughout Helsinki, as well as some other stunning sights like Suomenlinna Fortress on an island near downtown Helsinki (pictured above).

Helsinki is a great place to visit if you want to experience a different side of Finland. It’s also a great base for exploring the rest of the country, including its many other cities and towns.
Turku
The city of Turku was founded in the 13th century, making it the oldest city in Finland. It is known for its medieval architecture and beautiful cathedral, which dates back to 1418. If you’re looking for a great place to visit while in Finland, Turku should be at the top of your list!

Turku is a beautiful city that has lots of things to do and see. It’s the oldest city in Finland, and it has lots of history. There are tons of museums, churches and other attractions in Turku that you can visit while you’re there!
Vantaa
Vantaa is home to many museums and historical sites. If you’re interested in learning more about Finnish history, then a visit to Vantaa would be a great choice especially on a rented car at your own pace. The city has many parks and lakes as well!

The city is also home to many shopping centers, including Forum Vantaa. You’ll be able to find all kinds of shops here, as well as plenty of restaurants and cafes. If you need some last-minute souvenirs, then you can also stop by the airport’s duty free shops!
Mariehamn
Mariehamn is the capital of Åland and has a population of around 22,000 people. It’s considered to be one of the most beautiful towns in Finland and is a popular tourist destination thanks to its charming atmosphere.

It’s also known for being home to many artists, including painter Carl Gustaf von Rosen (1839-1917).
Kouvola
Kouvola is a town in southern Finland, about 100 km from Helsinki. It has a population of around 45 thousand people and it’s known for its industrial history. The town was founded in 1651 by King Charles X Gustavus of Sweden as one of his fortresses during the Russo-Swedish War (1656-57), but it wasn’t until 1871 when Kouvola became an independent municipality with its own city rights granted by Emperor Alexander II.

Since then Kouvola has evolved into an important industrial center for Southern Finland; nowadays it houses several businesses operating in heavy industry sectors such as shipbuilding and metalworking industries.
